We are now looking for a shift leader in CNC for a job just south of Oslo in Norway.

Our client is a leading player in advanced machining, welding, and assembly, working with industries such as oil & gas, renewable energy, industry, and research and development. The company's new, large, and modern production facilities currently house 26 different CNC machines.

The production team is now to be expanded with an additional shift leader responsible for ensuring quality and workflow.

Responsibilities:

*Responsible for the daily operations and staffing of CNC machines in production.

*Responsible for coordinating the shift regarding workflow, priorities, and quality.

*Training and follow-up of work for new employees.

*Maintain ongoing dialogue with the production manager.

*Setup and preparation of equipment and tools.

*Operation and monitoring of CNC machines.

*Logistics between running operations.

*Ensure that production follows applicable procedures and quality requirements.

*Ensure good communication and ensure that the work team is functioning well.

Qualifications:

*You are a trained CNC operator or have equivalent work experience.

*You have at least three years of experience working as a CNC operator.

*You have previously held a leadership position in the CNC industry.

*You have good handling skills of delicate parts.

*You have a high safety awareness and a strong attention to detail.

*You are meticulous in manual handling.

*You communicate fluently in Swedish or Norwegian as well as English.

*You have a good understanding of how metals and plastics behave during machining.
